Rescue cat Chikotan

On April 24th, our client, Mr. Takahashi, came to Funabashi Shelter with his cat in his arms. He had found a small stray cat with a cold near his home in Iwatsuki Ward, Saitama City, and had asked for advice on how to treat it. He asked us to take the cat to a veterinary clinic immediately, and the doctor there advised us that the kitten was weak and should be kept indoors.

There are various circumstances

Mr. Takahashi was taking care of the cat until yesterday, the 24th. The cat's name is Chikotan, a male, 3-4 months old.

When the kitten came out of the carrier, it certainly looked like it had a cold, but based on my experience looking after cats, I thought it was probably due to flea bites that had weakened it and caused the cold symptoms. I could tell from the way it was scratching its body due to the itchiness.

I immediately purchased Frontline, a flea treatment for cats. It's a medicine that you apply to the back of the cat's neck. Chicotan has a good appetite and eats a lot, so I think he'll recover quickly. First, I need to consult with the veterinarian and wait for him to recover gradually so that he can make a full recovery.
